Hojo cuffs – Tensioned single column tie
If we have to tie a limb – a “column” – we can use a single column tie: a band of two passages closed by a couple of knots.
But it may happen that we have to make a single column tie while we are tying, without having the two ends of the rope free to tie them together.
In this case we have to use a tie called “hojo cuff”, or “tensioned single column tie”.
