In this video, we will see how to join ropes, and then we will also talk about the stylistic differences between tying by making joints or not.

Joining ropes is very useful because it allows us to obtain a virtually infinite rope, but also not making joints – and therefore having “made to measure” ropes – is equally convenient.

Personally, I prefer not to make joints, even if in my rope set I have some short ropes to use if I just need those twenty, thirty, forty centimeters to finish the tie and especially if the joint is in a not very visible point, for example on the back.

But what are the differences between tying by making joints or not?
Let’s find out in this video!
